Carpets by Faig Ahmed

As we all know, carpets are the icon of Eastern tradition but Faig Ahmed is here to change the stereotypical image we have of them. He is changing the conventional structure and rearranging it into an amazing piece of art. You can learn more of his work here.
I would totally buy one of these carpets, What about you?

'2nd Lives' Campaign By Coca-Cola

What would you do with an old, used bottle of Coca-Cola? Well, if you run of ideas the company brings 16 ways to re-use your bottle. You can go from a simple empty Coca-Cola bottle to a marker, squirt gun or even a rattle for your baby.
This wonderful idea was created by the help of Ogilvy & Mather China. As part of the campaign 40,000 will be given away to citizens of Vietnam to encourage them to recycle as much as they can.
One point worth discussing is the fact that we do not know whether the caps are made of recycle plastic, if not, Is this the best way to get rid of plastic waste?
What do you think??

Iris Van Herpen: Fall/Winter 2014

Iris Van Harper just went all the way this time. Her collection was a mix of couture and ready to wear some featured 3-D printing made in collaboration with Julia Koerner who created a kinetic dress and finally the molded boots were from Iri's collaboration with United Nude.

This amazing installation was another great collaboration of the show. The artist Lawrence Malstaf, a specialist in the interaction between biology and physicality, was the genius behind this. This installation had the models suspended in what looked like a plastic bag with hoses running down the sides.

Alternative Histories

Valery Hegarty a New York based artist is the responsible for this amazing artworks. She often works with fragile material such as paper, paint and glue resulting these amazing pieces of art.
I love the fact that all of the pieces are "destroyed"yet i find them extremely brilliant and beautiful.
ENJOY!

CHANEL FALL / WINTER 2014

We love it! Karl Lagerfeld turned the Grand Palais into a supermarket and it's absolutely brilliant. Of course, all of the products were Chanel branded including eggs, meat, vegetables, pasta, soft drinks and more! What do you think?
